Local Weapon Masters of Grindletown Below I will give you a quick run down on the 4 main weapon masters of Grindletown, Margarn, Gareth, Naidare and Saccross. I will provide a very brief introduction to each master. If you require more in depth information feel free to view some of the tomes in the local Library which provide more in depth information on each of the Fighting Four.Master Margarn The most sort after and popular Weapn
Master is Margarn. He is a renowned master in the long
sword and the 2 handed sword. Due to the rigors of his
training methods he will only take on one apprentice per
month. Any applicants that wish to train under him must
pass a stringent test prior to their acceptance as an
apprentice. If any of the rules that he sets for his new
apprentices are broken, their training will be concluded
immediately. Training is considerably difficult and most
new apprentices quit long before a month is up. Those who
have the skills and determination to survive his rigorous
training, will find the skills learnt from him most
beneficial. Overall he is considered a tough but fair
teacher and those who tutor with him have come to earn
his respect. Master Gareth Gareth is a master fencer. He is an
expert in the use of a Rapier and a scimitar. Gareth will
take on any new apprentice as long as they can afford to
pay his expensive training fee. He is purely money
orientated. In addition he is a very proud man and uses
humiliation in his training methods and a large number of
his apprentices are bought to tears at least once in
their time with him. He does not care who he takes on as
an apprentice as long as they can afford to pay him his
fee. Once he has finished their training he prefers to
have nothing to do with his past students. He is
considered a vain and cruel hearted man, but his skill in
fencing weapons is considerable. No better fencer can
there be found in these parts! | ||
