Thorlack Axegrinder is the local armorer and weaponsmith. His store is home to all types of metal armors ranging from chainmail to Fullplate. The armor sold here is of excellent quality and is regarded by many adventurers as the best armor to found in the Moonsea. Thorlack will make up armor to fit any size from Halflings to Giants. He has no magical armors at this time. However he may invest in procurring some in the near future. Though it is very difficult to acquire magical armour as people become very attached to its magical properties.
Thorlack is also a fine crafter of metal weapons of all sorts. A customer can have any metal weapon crafted here. His store is crammed full of many various kinds of weapons from the rare to the mundane. They are all of excellent quality, made from the local ore mines. Metal is smelted at the local blacksmith's shop and is then used to fashion excellent quality products.
Trinity's Bakery supplies the
town with fabulously baked fresh bread and deserts. Trinity's apple pies are known in many towns throughout the realms. They have become so popular that he has started trading them with the nearby towns for quite a tidy profit. The bakery has a small mill attached to it where Trinity grinds the grain to make his sweet smelling bread. Even with its huge financial success to date, the bakery still remains a relatively small building. He is not one for change in any form. Though, perhaps in future years Trinity will improve on his store to match the expanding market.
Haladare owns and runs the local blacksmith store. Haladare's Blacksmith is used to smelt ores from the local mines, often prior to dipatch with the local ore merchants. the blacksmith shop supplies smelted ore to the local weaponsmith/armorer. Haladare can produce just about any metal object for a customer for a price. He is quite an accomplished smithy. Galnore is the offical owner, operator and taster at Gefion's Brewery. The ale produced here is of an exceptional quality. Galnore's wares are sold to a local merchant Company, Garnsable's Fine Wine & Beer, who then export it to Mulmaster. The only brothel in town, theVeiled Ladies, is run by a young and quite beautiful human woman by the name of Chyrse. Naslorn is Grindletown's resident carpenter. He is of Half Elven stock and attributes his skill with wood to his Elven heritage. Grindletown's General Store is always well stocked and provisioned with anything the adventurer may require. The Halfling owner, Roddy Brie-tulk will go out of his way to satisfy his customers. Even ordering goods from far away lands if need be. A pretty half elf called Nimmamoy runs a small grocer selling fruits and vegetables to the local townspeople. Haladare is the local blacksmith. He is a very
strong young man, though he is not that bright. His best friend
Kaidjerr runs the business side of the store and Haladare does
the actual physical work associated with blacksmithing. Haladare
looks up to his friend and will do whatever Kaidjerr tells him to
do. Luanican Glitterdust owns the only jewelers in town. She is an exceptional jeweler. Like all Gnomes she has a particular taste for Rubbies of all kinds and the majority of her prized jewelery pieces are made from this precious red rock. There is growing speculation that Mayor Grindle maybe courting the pretty Gnome but at this stage this is only unsubstatiated gossip. The local stables is run by Nafton a very large muscular warrior. It is rumoured that he is a mystical beast rider who flies around on a trained Griffon. His stables house the mundane, from horses to camels to dogs but also caters for the more exotic creature in the form of griffons and other unusual flying creatures. Korburn, a huge 7' tall human, is the local stone mason. Due to the increase in the town's population his business has florished. His skills as a mason are apparent in the number of scuptures he has provided for the local Temple District. Francis, a quite and shy old woman owns the local Tailor shop. She is currently training a young half Elf that she calls Misty. Nate Ameroon is the local tanner, hunter and tracker for the town. Appart for his hunting prowess, he is also a renowned bounty hunter. Zara's Tavern is the only
guesthouse and place of entertainment in Grindletown and is of course frequented by most if not all visiting travellers and of course the local towns people. It is quite a large establishment with room for at least 50 guests in the one and two person bedrooms. Combine this with the huge common rooms and Zara could actually pack in at least twice this number. Guests here have a choice of roughing it in the huge common rooms or living a little more comfortably in the one or two people rooms. Lodging here includes a small breakfast and a wash in the bath house if one is so inclined. Advanced Dungeons & Dragons
